Tried to tow my car even when I paid for guest parking and parked in a guest marked spot, outrageous don’t live here
I’m really disappointed with how things have been handled at Alight recently. We went three full days without Wi-Fi, with very little communication or urgency to address an issue that directly impacts residents who rely on internet access for school, work, and everyday life. On top of that, the new parking system has made it incredibly difficult to have guests over. We no longer have guest parking passes, and now our friends and family are expected to pay unreasonably high prices just to visit us, with the added concern of towing enforcement.
After living at Alight, I’ve realized that the cons outweigh the pros. It is close to a bus stop and relatively close to campus, but for what you are paying, I think there are much better housing options available. One of my biggest frustrations is that Alight continues to add fees and requirements without making noticeable improvements that justify the additional cost. Most recently, they have started charging for parking, which was previously one of the strongest advantages of living here. Maintenance has also been consistently frustrating.
