My daughter and her friends did not get their original apartment they were scheduled to have due to being bumped by other students. The apartment my daughter got had/has black mold and we were not told!!

The Ion Tuscaloosa new renters insurance requirement is extremely concerning. They require $250,000 in coverage for property damage caused by a resident’s animal, yet major insurance carriers don’t offer anything close to that—many cap animal-related property damage at $500. The result? Residents’ policies are rejected, leaving the Ion’s $19.95/month “waiver” program as the only option.
