Considering Memoir Buckman? Read this before signing a lease. My experience and others with Avenue5’s management has raised serious concerns about transparency, billing, and how residents’ complaints are handled. ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING PROPOSED, THEN WITHDRAWN Following the building’s water-intrusion event from the catastrophic pool leak from the roof, I reported soft drywall and congestion and respiratory symptoms while in my apartment. Management proposed Alpha Environmental with indoor and outdoor sampling, then withdrew the assessment after I agreed.

This apartment complex offers short-term stays and I would highly recommend. We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect as an alternative to staying downtown. I’d imagine it would be fun to live here, too

We have been without power in our home for over two weeks due to a fire. We decided to move here from a hotel as it would be cheaper but nicer than an AirBnB with a kitchen and washer and dryer. We understood we were moving into a studio, but no where did it mention that the windows would not open and that there would be no actual light through the windows since the view opened to a square with vents and other windows (felt like NYC which Portland should not feel like). There is also no table, not even a coffee table, which seems strange since there is a full kitchen.
