I am very disappointed with the management and office staff. While I do love my individual apartment unit, despite the initial move-in issues typical of student housing, the consistent unprofessionalism and rude behavior exhibited by the office staff is unacceptable. My initial concerns arose during the leasing process last summer, where attempts to resolve a roommate issue were met with unresponsiveness and contradictory information from the office. My phone call was answered maybe one time out of the many times I reached out.
The actual apartments are relatively nice and conveniently located. But you should make a folder to include all your documents and bills. Take photos before moving in and after moving out because they are automatically going to assess you with fees for damages (even if no damage), cleaning (even if left clean) and $100 to replace the apartment and mailbox keys they say you failed to turn in, even though you did ("There is no way to prove you turned them in." said the clerk).
I am only giving Redpoint a 1 star because there isn’t an option for 0. Absolutely the worst managed place I have ever lived. If you like being scammed, this is your place. Upon move out I was charged for a “replacement unit key” and a “replacement mail key” at $50 a pop even though they were turned in with my move out packet. I have called several times to try to correct this and I have finally gotten through just to be told that there is “no proof that I did in fact turn them in”.
